Brittany Murphy, an American actress and singer was found dead in her home. At the young age of only 32, the news of her death comes as a surprise not only to her family, but to her loyal fans. They are certainly very devastated to hear about this.
The question in everyone’s mind is: “How did she die? Why did she die? Is it a suicide? Did she have an accident?”
According to news reports from television, Murphy’s mother found her in the bathroom already unconscious. Paramedics, who claimed she was in full cardiac arrest, did their best to perform CPR at the house and all the way to the hospital. She remained unresponsive, however, despite of their best efforts. Upon arrival at Cedars-Sinai, she was pronounced dead.
The reason to her death is still largely unknown. Some have speculated it may be drug-related, but that thought has absolutely no bearing at this point. The truth may be finally revealed once autopsy has been performed. Until now, the cause of her death is uncertain.
The family has released a statement to UsMagazine just recently: “In this time of sadness, the family thanks you for your love and support. It is their wish that you respect their privacy.”
Their privacy should be respected, indeed! In a time of media craze and frenzy, people are bound to make up stories and speculate on causes of her death — creating more unnecessary controversy. While the reasons behind her sudden death is uncertain, folks should just focus on the life she had — not on the why’s of her death at this time. Her family needs love and support at this moment.
One thing is for sure, however; she will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and fans around the world!

Sudden cardiac deaths in people under 35 are quite common unfortunately. Can't find figures for the US but in the UK it's 12 per week. If the US has 5 times the population of the UK, then you'll be looking at about 60 per week. Most causes of cardiac death are treatable (assuming the person who has the problem is aware of their illness of course).

Ok this makes me really mad. I have walked in their shoes and until people have done that they shouldent be dissing anyone. I was addicted to a prescription medication, codeine. No im not proud to put this on the internet but if it will make people think twice before condemming people then its worth it. I could of died, but I had a friend who helped me. Honestly I dont know what it worse, dying or coming off the drugs. I spent 4 weeks off work so dosed up on sleeping tablets from my doctor to help me control the withdrawl symptoms. I wet the bed. I had major mood swings. I was throwing up everyday. I couldnt feed myself because I was being knocked out cold at the hospital 4 times a day. Most of the time being addicted to prescription drugs is completely inoccent at first. In my case I was on it because I have a bad back, and because of my work area i wasnt able to work without the drugs. Slowly they stop working, so you take more and more until you notice you are taking 20 a day when you are ment to take 1 or 2. Coming off drugs causes you physical and mental pain and leaves a scar forever. I am one of the lucky ones who got out in time.
Please dont bash people until you have walked in their shoes.
